The area without hunting activity in Arada, created under this project, encompasses 2 hunting zones – the Cárcoda Municipal Hunting Zone, managed by the Hunting and Fishing Club – Amigos de Cárcoda, and the Coelheira Associative Hunting Zone, managed by Coelheira – Association of hunters and farmers.
Under the protocol signed with ACHLI, the Cárcoda Conservation Zone (ZCM) contributes 1,378 hectares to this project, and the Coelheira Conservation Zone (ZCA) contributes 115 hectares. The total area of this refuge area is 1,493 hectares.
