Forest management for conservation
We establish, improve, and consolidate forest areas, guiding management towards the conservation of the Iberian wolf's habitat and its wild prey, through interventions that focus on creating forest spaces adapted to the ecological conditions of the region where they are located, increasing their availability, resilience, and size.
In these forest areas, we promote increased biodiversity of vegetation cover and forest area, conservation and recovery of native forest stands and habitat mosaics, protection of soils against erosion, maintenance and creation of groves, preservation of watercourses and riparian vegetation, creation of refuge areas, and reduction of fire risk.
