Forest management for conservation
We establish, improve and consolidate forest areas, guiding management towards the conservation of the Iberian wolf's habitat and its wild prey, through interventions that focus on creating forestlands adapted to the ecological conditions of the region where they are located, increasing their availability, resilience, and size.
In these forestlands, we aim to increase biodiversity in vegetation cover and forests, preserve and recover native forest stands and habitat mosaics, protect soils against erosion, maintain and create groves, preserve watercourses and riparian vegetation, create refuge areas, and reduce fire risk.
