Wolf Fund

Established simultaneously with the creation of ACHLI, the Iberian Wolf Habitat Conservation Fund, usually referred to as the "Wolf Fund," results from contributions from ACHLI members as a result of compensatory measures proposed within the framework of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) or Environmental Impact Assessment (EIAncA) processes for the installation of renewable energy power plants.

Managed by ACHLI and overseen by the Institute for Nature Conservation and Forests (ICNF), the Wolf Fund's sole purpose is to support projects for the management and conservation of the Iberian wolf's habitat.

All projects supported by the Wolf Fund take into account the current state of wolf packs in the areas where they are implemented and the local socio-economic environment, along with long-term planning, aspects that are often crucial to the success of these projects.
