The area without hunting activity in Alto Minho created under this project encompasses 2 hunting zones – the Sistelo Municipal Hunting Zone, managed by the Sistelo Parish Council, and the Gave Municipal Hunting Zone, managed by Veranda da Aveleira – Tourist Village – Association of Tourist Promoters.

Under the protocol signed with ACHLI, the Sistelo Conservation Zone contributes 274 hectares to this project, and the Gave Conservation Zone contributes 170 hectares. The total area of this refuge area is 444 hectares.
