Iberian Wolf Habitat Conservation Association
ACHLI – Iberian Wolf Habitat Conservation Association is a non-profit organization, founded in 2006, whose mission is to preserve natural and cultural landscapes of sensitive areas and, particularly, the Iberian Wolf’s habitat.
ACHLI counts on the active contribution of its members, mainly renewable energy developers, and several other sectors of society, e a colaboração de vários sectores, such as Environment public entities, universities, research centers, environmental non-governmental organizations, local authorities and local communities, among others, to pursue its activities.
These contributions ensure the operation of the Wolf Fund, Wolf Bottom which is used to finance projects for the management and conservation of the Iberian wolf's habitat.
ACHLI seeks to develop projects that represent real added value for the conservation of the Iberian wolf's habitat. All projects take into account the most up-to-date knowledge about the species and the surrounding socio-economic environment, aspects that are crucial for their success.
